Providence, RI – Fit + Fresh, Inc recently donated 242 lunch bags and lunch accessories to Providence’s Child and Family Services.
“We are thrilled to be able to support our local community by donating lunch bags and accessories to those who many not have access to such products,” said Chuck Miga, President and CEO at Fit + Fresh. “We want to help empower children, teachers and parents to feel their best with a lunch bag that might make their day a bit brighter, especially during the tough times we all, as a community, are facing.”
“Fit + Fresh’s in-kind donation is going to make such a large impact on the children and families that we serve," said William Tregaskis with Family Services of Rhode Island. "Family Services of RI is so appreciative of their kindness!”
Back to school is a major season for Fit + Fresh and with the fate of back to school uncertain, we want to do our part to support families as they navigate this tough time. Regardless of the decision of parents, sending children back to school virtually, in person or a combination of the two, the excitement of a new lunch box this year can help children, and teachers, have a sense of normalcy and excitement as their learning journey continues.
